My Pokemon won't get experience points, why?

When I battle a Pokemon and win I don't get experience points, why and how do I fix it?

If your Pokemon is at Level 100, it can no longer gain Exp Points. If you don't use a Pokemon in battle, it too won't gain Exp Points. If you battle with a Pokemon that is not Level 100, it will gain Exp Points. If it doesn't, then I think something is wrong with your game.

Do more research on the matter if you play a rom I had the same deal if on pkmn white run this code as a action replay code then it should work if not then idk
