World 02 - Crystal Mountain

World 2-1

For this level, we have a few flower enemies, some bugs and a couple of human harvesters. There are four humans to be saved here, and for collectibles there is a Beacon (1/3), directly across the edge of the main platform to the left.

World 2-2

Start this floor by going around clockwise and snagging each of the five humans along the way, after you've dealt with most of the enemies. You'll have to kill the enemy at the lower-middle section to make a platform appear so you can cross. There's also a special weapon box to the right. Clear off the enemies to complete the level.

World 2-3

The Secret Exit (1/3) is tucked away in between two pillars at the northeast corner of the level. A Visitor (1/5) will then come in from the far-left. As for the wandering humans, there are four of them here; grab all of them while moving constantly so as not to be trapped by swarming hostiles.

Secret Level 1

There's nothing you can do to disable the lasers here so just dash under them. Grab the three humans in between after clearing away the enemies nearby. A Visitor (2/5) will arrive from the left as well so be ready to destroy it.

World 2-4

Begin by heading counter-clockwise around the level. Dash under the bullets and destroy the cannon on the right, and just make your way around the top toward the left. Grab all five humans then shoot the glass tube on the top-middle platform to for a Secret Human (1/5).

The second Beacon (2/5) is on the lower middle platform, which you should be able to also destroy upon finding the hidden human.

World 2-5

The five humans on this floor are clustered close together. But there are also several harvesters going after them, so you'll want to be quick with saving them. A Visitor (3/5) will emerge from the southwest edge of the map as well. A Secret Human (2/5) is trapped inside a tube far to the right in the middle of the area.

World 2-6

Prioritize the destruction of the two moving cannons on the left and right sides to stop the stream of bullets. Save the four humans and defeat the rest of the enemies. There's a special weapons box to the north of the area as well. Grab that before completing the level.

World 2-7

You begin in the middle with two artillery guns. Destroy these and the rest of the level should open up. A Visitor (4/5) will come in from the middle portal up north. The Secret Exit (2/3) is across the main platform in the northeast corner. Grab the five humans if you can then clear all the enemies to complete the level.

Secret Level 2

Here you get the usual enemy swarm along with three humans to save. Defeat all of them.

Secret Level 3

The enemies are coming from the portals to the north of the area. Focus on destroying those to thin out their numbers, then shoot the group of glass tubes to the east to find a Secret Human (3/5) in one of them. Grab the three wandering humans before completing the level.

World 2-8

Keep an eye out for artillery fire while snagging the four humans on either side of the lower section. Grab the special weapon from the box up north in the center, then destroy the glass tube in the northwest corner to get an Extra Life. Defeat the rest of the swarm when it arrives.

World 2-9

This is where things can get a little hairy with a big swarm coming at you from both sides. Make your way to the right, grabbing each of the five wandering humans as you go. Rescue the Secret Human (4/5) by smashing the glass tube in the northeast corner. Try to use both ends of the level to avoid getting trapped by the bug swarm as they approach.

World 2-10

Another floor with just enemies and no collectibles. Destroy the cannons here first so you can freely move around the floor while killing the massive swarm. They will approach from multiple directions so make sure to move constantly.

World 2-11

Once again, the five humans here are clustered close together. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of enemies. Quickly kill the special bug so you can access the rest of the floor when the platforms appear. Clear the hostiles in the center first, then gradually head up to deal with the cannons on either side.

The last Secret Exit (3/3) of this world is tucked away in the northwest corner. The final Beacon (3/3) is also here and found across the main platform to the northeast corner.

Secret Level 4

Not much to say here. Snag the three humans and defeat all the enemies. One thing to note is that these wheel things will shoot towards you at high speed as soon as you hit them, so be prepared to move away.

World 2-12

Make your way up and keep shooting forward as you try to grab the four humans. Turn your guns the other way as soon as you reach the top to finish off the rest of the stragglers and move on.

World 2-13

Destroy one of the glass tubes in the middle of the southern section to rescue the final Secret Human (5/5) of this world. The last Visitor (5/5) will also come in from the east edge of this floor, so keep an eye out for it if you're aiming to collect everything in the game.

Clear all the enemies as usual. Take out the artillery in the middle to reveal the remaining piece of the platform before taking care of the rest. The last Secret Exit (3/3) is off to the east side of the level by the way.

Secret Level 5

Four humans, lots of hostiles and no collectibles. Male use of the large movement space and move to a different location as much as possible to avoid getting trapped.

World 2-14

Quick one here. Grab the three humans fast enough and you should easily get a trophy for getting 5x human combo. That is if you have not already unlocked it. Defeat the two harvesters afterward to put this one away.

World 2-15

This is one big arena full of enemies. There's an Extra Life in the tube at the northeast corner, as well as a special weapon crate on the left. Grab the three humans then defeat the harvesters and flower enemies to make the boss appear.

World 2-16

This battle with the Yeti Kong has two phases. For the first phase, it will fire a set of four small slow moving projectiles, or put forth weapons that fire either lasers or tiny projectiles. Simply dash under the lasers and keep shooting him until the boss has only about a quarter of his health left.

At this point, he will repeatedly slam his fists on the ground and send big pink rocks in your direction, while firing a barrage of skull projectiles at the same time. Look for gaps between these rocks and projectiles to dodge them while you continue shooting him until he falls.
