Nintendo DS - World 4

In New Super Mario Bros DS, world 4 is a forest world. It is the first secret world, which is unlocked if the player defeats Mummipokey; the main boss of world 2, while in mini form. World 4 has 10 levels, 1 cannon, 1 mega mushroom house, 2 red mushroom houses, 1 1-up house & 1 hidden 1-up house. Here are all the levels in world 4:

World 4-1: World 4-1 is a toxic water level, where the player must cross toxic waters using a blue creature called Dorrie. Landing in the toxic water will instantly kill the player, so be careful.. This level is of moderate difficulty.

World 4-2: World 4-2 is a sky level, with many tilting mushrooms & some new purple mushrooms, which rise when the player stands on them. The level is of moderate difficulty.

World 4-3: World 4-3 is an underwater level. It consists of several eels & some giant eels, which the player must avoid. This level has a moderate difficulty, although can be difficult because the pipes blow out air, pushing the player into eels.

World 4-Tower: World 4-tower is an inside level, where lava is constantly rising. The player needs to climb many fences before the lava reaches the player. Once at the top, the player will fight Bowser Jr. If you aren't good at climbing fences at high speed, this level can be quite difficult.

World 4-A: World 4-A is unlocked after paying 5 star coins. It is a toxic water level, where the player must progress through by jumping on spinning wheels & crossing land. This level is quite difficult.

World 4-4: World 4-4 is a forest level, with many wigglers roaming. If the player jumps on one, it will become angry & start moving faster. This level is quite an easy level, because the wigglers are easy to avoid.

World 4-Ghost House: World 4-ghost house is an inside level containing many large boos, which inflate & shrink when they breathe & move. The best strategy in this level is to avoid the giant boos. The level is of moderate difficulty.

World 4-5: World 4-5 is an underground level with many bob-ombs. The bob-ombs can be used to break blocks to get to rewards such as star coins. The level is quite easy, if you are completing it without getting any hidden treasures.

World 4-6: World 4-6 is very similar to world 4-1, as it is a toxic water level & requires riding Dorrie. This time the level consists of several pipes & piranha plants. The level is of moderate difficulty.

World 4-Castle: World 4-castle is an inside level, with many swinging platforms & thwomps. It also contains lava, so be careful when jumping from platform to platform. At the end of the level, the player will fight a giant goomba, which must be ground-pounded on 3 times. Using the walls & wall jumping or the ? switch & the green platforms, you can jump on top of it & ground-pound.

The player will now progress to world 5.
