Character Tier List

There are currently 17 playable characters in MultiVersus and each has a specific role. This Character Tier List will tell you which are the best characters in 1v1 and 2v2 game where teamwork and thoughtful cordination are essential to your success. Keep in mind that there are some matchups that will give you a natural advantage, one of these is having an Assassin that has the strategic aid of a Support character.

MultiVersus 1v1 Tier List

S-Tier

Finn, Superman, Batman, Bugs Bunny.

A-Tier

Harley Quinn, Shaggy, Jake The Dog, LeBaron James.

B-Tier

Steven Universe, Velma, Taz, Arya Stark, Reindog.

C-Tier

Wonder Woman, Tom and Jerry, Garnet.

D-Tier

Iron Giant.

MultiVersus 2v2 Tier List

S-Tier

Finn, Batman, Harley Quinn, LeBron James.

A-Tier

Superman, Bugs Bunny, Shaggy, Taz, Velma, Jake The Dog.

B-Tier

Best Character - Finn

Without doubt the best character currently available in MultiVersus regardless if you are playing 1v1 or 2v2 is Finn. Although Finn is categorized as a 'horizontal' focused character he still has strong vertical tools. Finn has an assortment of chargeable normals that are powerful and rangy and a special trait that allows him to move while charging his grounded attacks.

The downside to Finn is that he is an assassin class character which means he can't take too many hits. Finn's low health however is compensated by his range and incredible speed which can be increased during a match by his unique shop mechanic which enables him to perform a move where he crouches down, and you are shown a small shop menu with three items for him to buy with the Gold he has collected. Aside from a movement speed boost this shop menu also offers Finn the 'booty buff' which gives Finn a projectile shield while charging attacks. When you play as Finn you will also be able to gain money by hitting your opponent and collecting the Gold that drop on the ground.
