Captains are the best players on your team, their unique playstlye will determine which playbook you have access to during gameplay and what scoring bonuses you will receive in-game. It is important when building a team you surround these star players with players that complement their playstlyle and fit the scheme.
Your Captains will fall into one of the four offensive schemes below:
West Coast
Spreads the field horizontally and emphasizes the short passing game.
Smashmouth
Built around a power running game and physically wearing out defenses.
Spread
Emphasizes misdirection, getting players in space and mismatches.
Vertical
Throwing deep passes downfield.
