The objective of Overdrive mode is to outscore your opponent in a 3 minute game where the normal rules of NFL football still apply. This means you still have to gain 10 yards with four downs to continue your drive. Listed below is the scoring system in Overdrive mode along with the points your opponent recieves when you perform badly.
Any Offensive Touchdown: 60 points
Field Goal: 30 points
First Down: 10 points
Reception: 7 points
Rushing Yards: 2 points each
Passing Yards: 1 point each
Performing badly will result in your opponent receiveing the corresponding number of points.
INT or Fumble returned for TD: 60 points for opponent
Turnover on Downs: 25 points for opponent
Interception: 25 points for opponent
Fumble lost: 15 points for opponent
Yards Lost: 3 points each for opponent
