There are a lot of different currencies in Lost Ark and nearly all of them can be earned during gameplay. As there are so many currencies available it can sometimes be confusing trying to differentiate between them. This Currency Guide will help you to identify the currencies in Lost Ark and tell you how to get them and what to do with them.

Silver Coins

How to get Silver Coins:

The most common currency in Lost Ark is Silver Coins and some ways you will be able to acquire it is from nearly all of the activities in the game, these include killing enemies, finishing quests, and selling items to NPCs. The best sources to farm Silver Coins are Chaos and Cube Dungeons.

What are Silver Coins used for:

Silver Coins are used for the common transactions in the game, these include buying items from NPCs, repairing gear, traveling via Triport, and rerolling stats on items.

Gold Coins

How to get Gold Coins:

The best sources to get Gold Coins is through the Daily and Weekly quests, Island Events, Dungeons, Raids, and auction house sales.

What are Gold Coins used for:

Gold Coins are a lot more valuable than Silver Coins and this currency in mainly used to buy items from other players in the auction house. Gold Coins can be used to buy equipment and swap endgame items. Gold Coins can be exchanged for Blue Crystals.

Royal Crystals

How to get Royal Crystals:

The premium in-game currency in Lost Ark are Royal Crystals, and they can only be obtained by purchasing them with real money. Purchasing one of the Founder Packs will result in you receiving Royal Crystals in your account at the start of the game, the amount you get depends on the Pioneer Pack you selected.

Silver Founder Pack: 1,000 Royal Crystals

Gold Founder Pack: 4,000 Royal Crystals

Platinum Founder Pack: 7,000 Royal Crystals

What are Royal Crystals used for:

Royal Crystals can be used to purchase cosmetic items in the in-game shop, such as skins, pets, or legendary mounts.

Blue Crystals

How to get Blue Crystals:

Blue Crystals are a weakened form of the Royal Crystals, they are obtained when you either convert your Royal Crystals or exchange your earned Gold Coins for them.

What are Blue Crystals used for:

Blue Crystals can be used to purchase most of the items on offer in the in-game shop. Legendary item bundles with skins and mounts are usually not included.

Coin of Courage

How to get Coin of Courage:

Coin of Courage is a PvP currency that is earned by participating in PvP activities such as the Arena.

What are Coin of Courage used for:

Coin of Courage can be used to purchase resources and upgrade materials from the PvP trader. They can also be used to buy cosmetics like titles and mounts.

Silmael Bloodstone

How to get Silmael Bloodstone:

Silmael Bloodstone can be obtained by completing guild quests or by participating in guild wars.

What are Silmael Bloodstone used for:

Silmael Bloodstone is the currency used at the Guild Trader to purchase a variety of upgrade materials.

Rift Fragments

How to get Rift Fragments:

You acquire Rift Fragments as a reward for completing Chaos Portals, these are special events in the open world that take place at specific times and only allow a limited number of players.

Rift Fragments is a currency that can be used to buy special crates that contain secret cards that enable you to enter special dungeons.

Pirate Coins

How to get Pirate Coins:

Pirate Coins are earned when you complete activities that involve your ship on the ocean. Pirate Coins can also be obtained as a reward from the Sea Dungeon.

What are Pirate Coins used for:

Pirate Coins can be exchanged for a variety of items that includes resources and consumables as well as songs, emotes, and other collectibles.

Pheons

How to get Pheons:

Pheons is a premium currency that you can buy using Royal Crystals or Blue Crystals in the in-game shop.

What are Pheons used for:

Pheons is an essential currency for buying and selling items at the auction house.

Providence Stones

How to get Providence Stones:

Povidence Stones can be acquired by defeating Elite and Alpha enemies, completing sudden and normal quests, and dungeons.

What are Providence Stones used for:

Providence Stones are heart-shaped trinkets that can be exchanged with NPCs for various rewards. These will typically be items that can increase affinity for certain relationship partners.
