There are plenty of different fighters to choose from in King of Fighters ALLSTAR and if you are unfamiliar with the franchise it can be a daunting proposition trying to figure out which ones are the best. Best Fighters in SS Rank Tier

# 1 - Orochi Iori '97

Type: Attack

Element: Yellow

Leader Skill: Increases ATK type Fighters' ATK by 60%, decreases DEF by 10%

Other Skills: Inflict DMG, Burn DMG

Strength: Attack/Damage

Powers:

• Slashing Hands

Iori can use his hands as slicing weapons.

• Pyrokinesis

Due to his Yagami heritage, Iori can control fire. He can create purple fire from thin air, create fire balls, deliver punches of fire, create pillars of fire and put his own body on fire. His fire also has the sacred ability to put enemies in a stasis-like state. He is not immune to other types of fire. He cannot control other fires that he didn't create.

# 2 - Mai Shiranui '95

Type: Attack

Element: Red

Leader Skill: Increases Attack type Fighters' ATK and HP by 25%

Other Skills: Inflict DMG, Burn DMG

Strength: Attack/Damage

Powers:

• Pyrokinesis

Mai is able to create and control fire. She cannot control flames she didn't create however and is not immune to other types of fire.

• Aerial Control

Mai has the ability to temporarily stay airborne and control her movements in the air. This allows her to float, glide, change directions in mid-air or gain temporary flight.

• Hammer Space

Mai can hide/pull out infinite weapons and items from her clothing and cleavage, from seemingly nowhere. She keeps multiple fans (her weapon of choice) with her that can't be seen.

• Bushin

Mai can temporarily project shadow images of herself and her weapon.

Shermie '97

Type: Defense

Element: Purple

Leader Skill: Increases ATK by 60% when the HP is over 70% or equal to 70% of the total HP

Other Skills: Inflict DMG, Self-Recovery(HP)

Strength: Leader Skill, Skill DMG

Powers:

• Ignore Weight

Shermie can grab and throw anyone in spite of their weight.

# 4 - Chizuru Kagura '96

Type: Defense

Element: Yellow

Leader Skill: Increases Yellow Element Fighters' ATK and reduces the damage taken

Other Skills: Inflict DMG, Decreases DMG Taken

Strength: Defense

# 5 - Mai Shiranui '97

Type: Attack

Element: Purple

Leader Skill: Increase PURPLE Element Fighters' ATK by 25%, Power Charge Rate by 20%, HP by 20%

Kim Kaphwan '94

Type: Balance

Element: Blue

Leader Skill: Buffs Blue Element Fighters' ATK, HP

Powers:

• Sense Evil

Kim can sense evil energy or intent in others.

• Phoenix Attack

Kim is able to summon a phoenix while using his Hou'ou Kyaku.

King '94

Type – Balance

Element – Red

Goro Daimon '96

Type: Defense

Element: Green

Ryo Sakazaki '95

Type: Attack

Element: Purple

Leader Skill: Increases Purple Element Fighters' ATK

Powers:

• Gather chi

Ryo can gather ki from Gaia, the mother-earth.

• Energy Projectile

Ryo can fire the Kouken and Haoh Shou Kouken blast normally.

• Multiple Attacks

Ryo can channel his ki energy into his arms to deliver multiple punches at a very fast ratio.

Iori Yagami '96

Type: Defense

Element: Green

Leader Skill: Increases Defense Type Fighters' HP

Heidern '95

Type: Defense

Element: Red

Leader Skill: Decreases DMG taken for Defense Type Fighters
