How to Fast Travel

Journey to the Savage Planey is primarily an exploration game and knowing how to fast travel to areas you have already visited can save you a lot of time and inconvenience, especially if you do not want to backtrack all the way to your corpse from your ship to regain resources when you die. Fast travel in Journey to the Savage Planet is done through the use of Alien Teleporters which rip you apart and then reconstruct you elsewhere. To enable fast travel you must first activate each of the twenty Alien Teleporters which exist within the game, to travel between them. In each new area you enter there will be a hidden Alien Teleporter which will be in the form of giant structure of stone with a small orb at the center.

Once you have found them you will need to scan and interact with the Alien Teleporters to activate them. Once switched on you will be able to jump between Alien Teleporters and your ship. If when you find an Alien Teleporter the small orb at the center is glowing red it is to indicated that there are some enemies you must first kill before you can switch it on. These enemies will typically attack you in three waves.

To teleport you must interact with the orb. Doing so will bring up a list of destinations you can scroll through using your analog stick. Then simply select the area you want to go to followed by the specific Alien Teleporter you want to teleport yourself to.
