Does timer still count down even when wifi is off

So basically I won't have wifi for a couple of days and I have the dance quest to complete. I still have 7 days but I'm afraid I won't be able to finish it as I won't have wifi for a few days. If I have no wifi does the timer still count down? Could I uninstall the game before those days, then reinstall it after? Will I still have my data is I do that ?what can I do to fix this?

Time still passes whether you are legged in or not - just try to get your game as stable as possible in terms of Quest progress and hope for the best?
