My Sim disappeared after buying and using Fabreze items. I sent her to a house where the occupants were busy planting and had her buy and use a Fabreze refrigerator, toilet and beanbag chair. Then I sent her home with the tracker. At the same time as she was on her way home, the dog found something and I manage to press it just in time. When we arrived back at her home (well I did anyway), her husband was watching tv, but I couldn't see her anywhere. I pressed the tv and had her join in. It registered on her tracker that she watching tv, but she's nowhere to be found. Her husband has a weird glow around him now too, in addition to the inspired sparkles. When I click on her in the tracker, it takes me away from the house and then back to it. Her husband is gone and everything is dark, but she's still gone. I can see in his tracker I can press the whistle and he returns to the house, but again, she is still missing. What do I do?

Comment:(Sep 11 2013) I'll answer my own question. It turns out the update has a glitch. When a Sim visits someone else and you put all the occupants to work except the visitor and send the visitor home with the tracker, they disappear. The tracker will take you to the visitor's home, but they will be invisible when you get there. To get them back you have to leave the game and quit the program. When you re-open the game, they'll be back.
