How do you remove a phone mine won't budge

There is a glitch on the cheapest phone in that it becomes unresponsive after you placed them in the homes. There is nothing we can do about it at the moment.

I am having the same problem. I cannot click on the phone to use it or remove it.

I am also having the same problem. Very annoying as the phone takes up wall space which means I can't place anything else there. Please could we have a fix for this EA!!!!Guest answered:
Same problem....The solution I found worked, albeit time consuming. Is to delete the room and place furniture in your inventory and rebuild the room again minus the phone.

There has to be a better solution. I have half a dozen of these phones and most are in major rooms. Anybody else have ideas?Guest answered:
If you delete the room all the contents are automatically put in your inventory. You can then try rebuilding the room and placing all the Items back except the phone! It worked for me
