On my competition center it says come back in 8,356 hours what do I do?

I had the same problem, but I found the solution.
1) Go into the settings, and change the date to the future (any time more than 8,356 hours)
2) Close the app, then reopen it.
3) It should same "There is a new competition at the competition centre"
4) Set the time back to normal
5) Close the app, then reopen it
6) Click on the sim you entered and delete the action
The next day it should say there is a new competition again, and it will work properly.
I haven't worked out the solution to The Party Boat version of this problem, I'll try experimenting.
