Why won't my sims make and drink coffee in the morning and afternoons?

Because the coffee maker is only a decoration. Your Sim can only eat out of the Refrigerator.

Mine can:-/ It works for the 'Zzzz' inspiration
Try putting it into your inventory & putting it back. It may give it a boost to work. Let me know if it works plz

The coffe maker is much more then a decoration. It fills your energy when you drink coffee. However why you can't drink it in the morning or afternoon is realllly weird.

Mines work too. You may had put the coffee machine backwards or somewhere that the sim woul say NUH- UH.
