Question for The Sims FreePlay
In buy mode, I'm locked out of every option except living room furniture and inventory. Does anyone know how to fix this?

When you reach max, that means you can't add additional new stuff, but you can add more of what you already have in that house. It's like each house can only take so many different Objects! Try deleting something (either sell or move to inventory) but if you have duplicate Items of the same thing, you have to remove all of that one item before it will let you add something new. Think of the cap as a cap on the number if different object you can have, not a cap on the total number...

I have the same problem, seemingly started when I reached level 36. However I don't think it's a quantity issue because if I go to another house and try there I'm still unable, and if I delete the only cooker in that house the problem continues. Any help would be great Guest answered:
You have an active Quest that requires you to buy something from the living room section. For me it was stack of magazines. After you have bought that item the buy mode will be unlocked again.
