Question for The Sims FreePlay

I am on level 22 and added my 10th house. When asked to add a SIM I cancelled out of it because I was not sure what I wanted to add. Now my first Sim moved into the new house and my first house is empty. I can't move her back or add a new Sim. The circle icon above the first house is empty showing no SIM character and when I click on it it does nothing. What do I do?
