No you cannot have a pet wolf/dog in Minecraft PE 0.5.0 alpha I really wish they had wolves too!!!!! Sorry! Maybe it will be in an update there are also not ocelots/cats either. :-(

I love dogs, instead of tapping on the button that says TAME, hold down on the wolf to tame, I don't know if you can do that if it's not on a tuch screen

Yes, you can. You can spawn in a wolf in creative mode, or you can find one in survival. Once you get your untamed wolf, get a bone, point the bone at the wolf, and press the "tame

Yes all you have to do is spawn a wolf and a bone a AME it at the wolf and simperly press tame a couple of times I might not work the first Time (1.0.4 creative)

Yes, I beleive you can. You can give it bones to tame it. Then you can feed it meat. Remember, if you don't keep it well fed, it will die! Good Luck!

Well, you want to find out yh? At this point of view sorry but you can't. The person who said you can lied. They didn't do it on Minecraft PE only on computer! Luckily, I might because I might get it on my Xbox for Christmas. Though,never give up if you have info faith. And you can always find out on YouTube. I found out lodes of cool seeds. Like Nyan, cat, 666,dumbocow and lotes more. YouTube tells you everything you wanna know about everything!

Actrually, yes, you can. Check out JackFrostMiner's video called "how to get animals in creative mode pocket edition". It's possible with the help pf another app. At least, I'm sure u can get chicken, cow, and sheep.(pigs as well) but I want a dog sooo bad(and a cat).

I believe you cannot. I have searched and tryed for over half a year now and I didnt find anything at all that worked! I'm afraid that to get dogs on minecraft pocket edition you need it on a computer. They might upgrade minecraft pocket edition so it is possible to have a dog, but at the moment they are still working on it. At least thats what I've heared! But I will keep looking and so should you, keep your ears peeled for the latest Minecraft PE upgrades and make sure to download them as quick as possible becuase it doesnt matter whether it hs dogs or not! It was, is and will always be amazing to play!

Lol no sadly you can't have a pet dog, but you can have a pet pig! Just hold a carrot (you can get by killing zombies) and he will follow you! Lol! You can also have pet cows, chickens etc. Just search up how to breed them.

In 0.9.0, which comes out in late June. When 0.9.0 comes out, it will be exactly the same as MCPC 1.7.2, or MCXbox TU8 or 9 (not so sure about the Xbox verson stuff, but whatever)

Yes, wolves can be pets. You tame them by giving them a bone. You can tell them to sit or stand, and they help you kill Mobs

Yes! There are now wolves/dogs in Minecraft Pocket Edition! To tame a wolf you will need to find a wolf or spawn one in creative. Next get a couple of bones (can be found when killing skeletons) and stand in front of the wolf until you see the word tame in front of the dog. Press the button until there are hearts coming off the dog and it finally sits with a red collar around it's neck.
Now you might be asking... " why do I need/want a dog anyways?" Dogs are like a hidden weapon that you can controll. Lets say you and a friend are playing on pe together and they threaten you! Not a problem! Just go next to your newly trained dog, click the stand button and tap the person you want to attack once. Your dogs will do the rest of the work attacking that person until they are dead! This method can also be used when hunting for Animals or Mobs!
