Fable 2 Guide - The Oakfield Massacre
By contrast to The Defender of the Light, this quest gets you the Temple of the Shadows seal and 750 renown. You also get around 30 evil points for each kill, in total well over 500 evil points in this one quest!

In case you hadn't worked it out yet, the idea of this quest is to head to Oakfield and execute every single person there. To accept the quest, visit the Temple of Shadows and then move on to Oakfield and speak to their representative there as instructed. The golden trail will point you towards each villager and soldier, but for the most part you'll find them in the common places: the pub, Temple of Light, the main bridge and along the main paths and roads. Use your ranged weapon to take the majority out in a single, satisfyingly devilish shot. Clearly this quest has serious consequences for the future of Oakfield.
With this done, it's time to head back to Bowerstone and stock up on items, see the family and then head to Westcliff docks to meet Hammer and set sail for the Spire.
Once back in Westcliff however you should invest 5,000 gold in Barnum's redevelopment project, in the Westcliff Development quest.

I cant seem to find the last person in Oakfield. I have been around the town many of times. Where is he?!
Ive killed everyone that Ive seen in Oakfield but it still say population 1. sometimes a person will respond near the bridge. the pop still says 1! Is this a glitch or where is this person?
OMG! This quest is silly. I do not and I mean DO NOT WANT TO LOSE MY HALO FLOATING OVER MY HEAD!
I have killed everyone cept for 1 person and I can't freakin find him! Any idea of where he could be, I feel I've searched everywhere.
I HAVE TO BIG OF A HEART AND I WANT TO QUIT THIS QUEST
oh, and this quest allegedly becomes available after you make a couple sacrifices at the temple of shadows (although some claim that this does not work).
the oakfield massacre quest does NOT come from the executioner next to the wheel. when you first fast travel to the temple of shadows, there will be a guy standing right near the entrance (inside the temple) who will prompt you with the quest. all of the population are on the main roads (a couple are located in the cornfield on a path that leads to someone's house, on the other side of the bridge from the sandgoose), temple of light, and in the sandgoose. be patient with the golden trail, it will lead you to all of the citizens of oakfield and you should have murder count in the right hand corner of your screen telling you how many people are left to kill.
theres an exclamation point over the executioner's head, but i cant accept the quest. do i have to progress further in the storyline? im on the storyline quest :the bargain"
The guy by the wheel has a exclamation mark over his head but all he talks about is sacrificing!
im on the oakfield massacare an ive killed like everyone there but when i go back to where my glowing things leads me the guy dont say anything i dont know what to do i think i killed everyone cause ive been walking around an havent found noone where are they hiding?
ok i havent gotten oakfield massacre or defender of light do i have to do certain quests to get them first so far ive done the main story line and i have 2000 point for the temple of shadows. Temple of light is destroy when i visit too.
^^^^^^^^^^ if u dont do the massacare or the defender then oakfield is overun by shadows and resembles oakvale/wraithmarsh
Ive made like 50 sacrfices. Still can get the Oakfield massacre Quest.
When I go near the guy who gives you the quest stood near the wheel, he doesn't give me the mission
do u have to do either one, defender of light or the massacre? what will happen if you do not do either quest?
