G.I. Joe War On Cobra is basically all about constructing the ultimate base while at the same time tearing down other players bases. The game is made up of two halves, on one half you assault the bases of your enemies as you try to take down all of their defences and raid their supplies while on the other half you are building up your base, to protect it from marauding enemies intent on tearing it appart for your resources. Check out our How to Build the Best Base guide to find out how you can construct a sturdy base quickly. This will involve getting more units, building up your base, and opening up as much cargo as possible.
Gold and Oil
The two most important resources in G.I. Joe War On Cobra are gold and oil and they are essential materials if you want a base that is powerfully built. Both gold and oil can be produced at your base by placing the required type of buildings and both materials are very important so make sure you always add these buildings whenever possible. Oil is often used for buildings and upgrades on your base, while gold is used to upgrade units for battle.
Secure your Base
During the early game try to place as many buildings down as possible as doing so will either reward you with more oil and gold in the long run or fortify your bases defenses, making it harder for your attackers to get close. Try to create a labyrinth that must be traversed which is a death trap laden with Mines, Tank Traps, and Turrets which have all been strategically placed to ensure they maximize the amount of damage they deal to the enemy. Don't neglect placing down the buildings that earn oil for upgrades and new buildings as they are incredibly important.
Always have Cargo Unlocking
In G.I. Joe War On Cobra you can store up to four cargo boxes at a time. During the early stages of the game when you are filling up you may want to consider using some gems to open some Cargo (leave the bigger Cargo to unlock overnight) to speed things up. At all times you can have one piece of Cargo oppening on the Cobra side and Joe side simultaneosly. This does not count the Battle Cargo and free Cargo which you will be offered periodically.
Time Management
If while you are building your base you find you are being overwhelmed for whatever reason and you do not want to spend gems to speed things up you can always jump over to the other side and do some building or battling there while you are waiting for time to pass by before you can continue with your initial base.
