How to Get Relic Weapons in Gears 5

Relic Weapons in Gears 5 are rare versions of existing weapons that can be found as you progress through the campaign. Relic Weapons have unique skins and buffs, such as more firepower, extra accuracy, or more ammuniton. When a Crimson Omen appears on screen it is to indicate that a Relic Weapon is somewhere nearby. Act 2 Relic Weapons

Enforcer Relic

Where to Find:

Found by the opening of the Northern Passage in Chapter 2. It is on the left side of the nearby cliff.

Unique Ability:

It will deals much more damage than the standard Enforcer submachine gun even though it fires slower.

Longshot Relic

Where to Find:

Found near where you picked up the Missing Outsiders mission in Chapter 2. Inside a red shack outside the New Hope Wellness Facility.

Unique Ability:

Gives you an extra bullet in the chamber when you perform an active reload.

Boltok Relic

Where to Find:

Once you have located the Condor crash site nearest to the east tower substation you will find the Boltok lying under an ice bridge that is in the vincinity.

Unique Ability:

Improved handling and increased accuracy when firing from the hip.

Boomshot Relic

Where to Find:

Found in Chapter 4 near the north tower substation. It is against the wall in the gap bewteen two generators.

Unique Ability:

Increases magazine size to three rounds.

Dropshot Relic

Where to Find:

You will find it while searching for The Source of it All in Chapter 4. It is behind a mound of ice that has the Crimson Omen on it.

Unique Ability:

Drops a cryo mine that freezes enemies.

Torque Bow Relic

Where to Find:

Go to the abandoned mine on the south edge of the valley in Chapter 4 and follow the rugged dirt path up among the trees instead of staying on the main path. If you enter the abandoned mine from the main gates you need to take the path just to your right.

Unique Ability:

It is able to fires bolts a lot faster than the standard Torque Bow. Although they are not explosive, they will still deal massive damage.

Retro Lancer Relic

Where to Find:

Head northeast from the Old Cog Wall until you reach the northern end of a small pond. Just to the west of it you will see a tree next to a massive stone formation with the Retro Lancer Relic leaning up against it.

Unique Ability:

It is able to fire explosive rounds that unleash air-bursts to hit nearby targets.

Act 3 Relic Weapons

Talon Relic

Where to Find:

Found at the abandoned airport in the northwest. It will be leaning up against a building along the outside fence.

Unique Ability:

It is able to perform a perfect reload and also grants increased damage and controlled recoil.

Claw Relic

Where to Find:

It is found beneath a bush next to a lone tower just northeast of the Cosmonaut Training Facility.

Unique Ability:

It is able to perform an active reload and also increase the rate of fire.

Hammerburst Relic

Where to Find:

Go directly between the City Ruins and Waterworks icons on the map. There you will find it beside a pile of crates next to a dead body in a dead-end between a fence and a low building.

Unique Ability:

It is able to fire longer bursts with successive pulls of the trigger.

Markza Relic

Where to Find:

Found in the trunk of a car in a parking lot just north of the Pump Station.

Unique Ability:

Grants full auto-fire when you hold down the trigger.

Snub Relic

Where to Find:

Found on a cliff southeast of the rocket hangar against the wall of a building.

Unique Ability:

Able to fire a more accurate 2-shot burst.

Overkill Relic

Where to Find:

Found near a large rock next to the Train Bridge, just northwest of the Bridge Control House.

Unique Ability:

Grants full auto-fire when you hold down the trigger.

Gnasher Relic

Where to Find:

Found along a high cliff wall west of the nomad convoy, directly north of the Water Tower. Keep an eye out for the Crimson Omen and head into the cliff to the right of it.

Unique Ability:

Able to fire a single shot that does massive damage.

EMBAR Relic

Where to Find:

Found in a downed Condor at the southeast end of the map, west of the Train Turntable.

Unique Ability:

Although charges slowly it is able to fire an extremely powerful shot.

Lancer Relic

Where to Find:[

Found southwest of the Train Bridge, just below the Cargo Shipwreck. It is in a gap between two rusted metal barriers.

Unique Ability:

Melee attacks stun enemies allowing you to set them up for a chainsaw kill.

Lancer GL Relic

Where to Find:

Found in the low valley under the roof south of the Water Tower and west of the Cosmonaut Training Facility. It is at the base of a pillar.

Unique Ability:

Alt-fire launches a non-homing grenade that air-bursts when enemies are nearby.
