What Pokemon do you need in your party when you talk to the guy in pacifilidog town so that you can get to mirage islang?

I heard that there's some weird hidden points or something your Pokemon have, and you need a certain number of these weird hidden points for the old guy to say he can see Mirage Island, and that your Pokemon's points vary game to game. But what I know is true, Mirage Island isn't all that great, just a couple rare berries and a bunch of wild Wynaut.

Mirage Island appears randomly...you don't need to bring a Pokemon to the old guy so you can go to Mirage Island...no!

It's not what Pokemon you need it's just luck. One day the old man will say he can see mirage island, then you can go and catch Wynauts there also there is a rare berry.

You don't need Pokemon because the tower appears and dissapears.

There is no specific Pokemon, it's all based on a different Pokemon ID number and it changes each day. At least thats what I've heard.

Any pokmon is fine you just need to check often to see when he says I can see mirage island.
