Yall are all saying that Bagon evolves at lvl.40 when it evolves into Shelgon, but I caught one at Meteor Falls at lvl.35. After I caught it, I battled people and my Bagon rose to lvl.36 and after the battle ended, it said," What! Bagon is evolving!" So explain that!?!?!?!

Bagon evolves at level 30. Shelgon evovles at level 50. There's my explanation!
That's because it evolves before level 40 — I think at 25 or 30 or somewhere in between...good lord, I'm losing my memory...
Bagon actually evolves into Shelgon at lv.30 and then into Salamence at lv.50
I believe bagon evolves into shelgon at level 30. Either you misread their information or those people you were reffering to have made a large error.
I didn't say that but those people are wrong.Mine evolved at level 30 so I'm guessing that's the level they should evolve at.
Acording to the guide Bagon evolves in Level 30. Because your Bagon was higher than 30 it evolved.
I don't know who told you Bagon evolves at Level 40, coz it doesn't. It evolves at Level 30 into Shelgon, but if you catch a Bagon and it's level is higher than 30, it will evolve at the next level you raise it to.
Bagon evolves at lvl 30 and again at 50. Wild pokemon a lot of times don't like to evolve themselves.
It evolves at 30 but if you catch one in the wild that is past level 30 it will evolve the next time it levels up while in your team.
Bagon evolves at level 40 because on april 10 they add 30 plus ten equals forty so Bagon evolves at level forty
