Question for Pokemon Ruby

How do you open the door at the back of the larger then ordinary house on the island which has the space center on (the house with the old man saying how he loves watching pokemon battles)?

Connect your Game Boy Advance with Ruby or Sapphire with another GBA with an E-Reader in it. Remember the Battle Card you got in the Ruby or Sapphire box? Swipe that through the E-Reader when Ruby or Sapphire is locked into Mystery Events. Then, go to the house in Mossdeep and the man will stand in front of the door, to ask you to challenge his guest. mIf you say yes, the trainer on the Battle Card will come out of the door and battle will begin. If you registered 48 trainers in Trainer's Eyes as well as the Elite Four and Gym Leaders, you will get a Trainer Star if you defeat this trainer.

Defeat all other 69 trainers and get an e-reader. Swipe just one card and then go there and the door won't be locked.

Well, I can't tell you the full way to do it, but I can tell you the first step. Go to the Lilycove Pokemon Center, and talk to the guy next to the PC. Change your profile to 'Mystery Event is Exciting'. Then save the game, turn it off and then back on, and at the menu that says 'Continue' and 'New Game' it will say Mystery Event. Unfortunately, you won't be able to do anything with that until you have a Gammeshark. If you have A Gameshark, fly to Mossdeep City (the one with the Space Center) and go to the Old Guy's house. Save the game and turn it off and on again. Go to Mystery Event and the menu, and it will start connecting. I wouldn't have a clue what to do next, but the door will open and you can battle trainers.
