Question for Pokemon Ruby

If you cannot trade with any games that are older that ruby, like gold, yellow, and games like that, how can you get stuff like Mew, mewtwo, Lugia, and stuff like that?

Mew, Lugia,Ho-Oh,Deoxys and I think Celebi can be obtained with a Nintendo event. And Mewtwo and some others may be obtained by trading between Fire Red, Leaf Green and Emerald.

Using the Nintendo Event, or you can use a Action Replay or Game Shark. Mewtwo though can be obtained through trade with Fire Red or Leaf Green.
