Question for Pokemon Ruby
Whenever I use golbat's mean look latios knock him out and the it can flee? Why is it like that, or when I use it I switch Pokemon and then it flees

Don't use mean look use something else and he wont flee..... Like supersonic.

Mean Look and similar moves only work while the Pok�mon that used the attack stays on the field.

When you use mean look latios can't flee if you switch out are if Golbat gets knocked out.

That's the thing, Mean Look only traps the opponent, doesn't prevent it from hitting you. You'll just have to be lucky I guess.

Use a strong trapinch with arena trap (its a special ability, not a move) so the latios can't escape and try your best to catch it. Hope I helped

I know; thats the thing, see mean look only prevents escape AS LONG AS HE'S OUT try leveling him up; I used a 59 Umbreon
