All you need to do is get a better variety of types of attacks on those. Try to use TM's with other types. For example, in Gold, i tought my Feraligator Ice Puch so it would be better against grass pokemon. You could also replace Duskull with a Sableye because that way, Pheobe can't hit it.

You should try to replace golbat with a fire pokemon because fire blast can't do it all and you already have swellow. Your Crawdaunt might be able to learn an ice attack that will help against Lance. I would put the ice attack over swords dance because face it, you really don't need that attack any more.

Get pokemon not in your usual party to learn the weak Hm's like rock Smash so you can have much stronger attacks on you main pokemon.

Try to get a pokemon that can put others to sleep so you can attack without getting attacked.

Pokemaster TY answered:

Try to teach Spectile Solarbeam,Hyper beam, Strength, and Cut(trust me I had that problem, too). Also teach sellow more attacking moves(just in case one of your oppenents use taunt). rise your weakest to level 50 or more because steven has pokemon that are level 50+(and has steel type). I have a level 75 Kyogre so it's not hard to level up your pokemon you just have to pick the right spot to train them at(I recommend the Ever grande city or route 128.

Ruby101 answered:

If you want an easier way to train your pokemon just fight the T.V reporters their either west or north of Mauville City.
