Okay, okay, you got me. Feebas invariably appears on Route 119, and you have to fish in the water, you know that. But what the tagline is at Dewford Hall determines what part of the stream Feebas appears in (are you listening, pokefan2?), and that you also know. Here's one that's rather easy, and I hope it works for you:

• Plug in the hip quote MUDKIP BALL at Dewford Hall if you can.
• If MUDKIP BALL is the quote, go to the upper part of the stream (by Fortree City and the Weather Institute, not the section by the Wingull house!). Go across the bridge and use Surf until you come to the waterfall above the Weather Institute. Do not go up the waterfall! Stop as near as you can to the waterfall, go to the middle tile, move two paces down, and then use the Good Rod whilst pointing downward.

Note: And NO, its location is not affected by Sweet Scent!

I know you would rather have this Cross Stinger guy help you,but I might be able to help too.You need a super rod to get a feebas.You get the super rod in Mossdeep.Go to the space station and go to the house Northwest of it. There should be a fisherman in the house who has a super rod for you. Get the rod and go to the water southwest of fortree. Feebas are there. Go into the water and fish off your surfers back. Have some fun with the Carvahna. Eventually you will get a Feebas(when you find the feebas, try to catch a boy AND a girl, just in case you need some Feebas eggs. I did this and now I have 2 Milotics, 1 at lv.100 and the other is a master rank beauty contest winner and almost a
boxful of baby Feebas.

Alright, I was busy all weekend trying to find a solid answer about this myself. What I found out was that changing the Trendy saying to certain sayings -- DOSN'T MATTER!! It only changes the 6 tiles in which the Feebas appear. It's totally random. My advice is DON'T change the trendy saying anymore, and search tile by tile using the old rod or good rod ( I used the old rod) . You'll catch him for sure, and the great thing about it is once you do you'll find the lot of them. Catch a bunch and make sure you catch a male AND female so you can breed them. Remember also, that the tile you're facing is the tile fishing from, not the one you're standing (or floating) on. The best way to search for it I figured would be as follows: Start in the lower right corner of Route 119 and then move all the way left, up one row, then all the way right, until you find Feebas. I read your input, Weedster, and you've made a good statement, but switching the quotes around is actually the point. Create a quote and go searching for Feebas, and when you find it, memorise the place that you found it at while the quote was popular.

Not all of us are stupid you know. Just go to Fortree. Go left, then down on the right side. Surf to the waterfall DO NOT GO UP THE WATERFALL. Make sure you have the super rod. Then use the super rod on the left piece of land. Face the water though.
