I really want a ninetales but can't find a fire stone to evolve it.

The Fire Stone is in the Fire Path, past all the boulders. You can also get one from the Treasure Hunter off the coast of Mossdeep if you have a Red Shard.

You can get a Fire Stone in Fiery Path or by trading a Red Shard to the shard collector (Shard can be located in Route 124).

To get a fire stone go to firey path and use strength on all the boulders untill you get to it.

Goto firepath, there will be a boulder, so bring a Pokemon that knows strength, and move the boulders untill you reach a place where theres a pokeball in a place get it and inside should be a Fire Stone.
