I chose Mudkip. It's good against gym leader one, three, four and five (but all starters are). But it can be good against team magma too. I used a cheat to get Beldum and latias.

The reason I got a beldum not a metagross was becuase it's stats would be higher than metagross's when it's level 100 becuase when it evolves it's stats get really high.
