After you beat the game where do find latias or latios which one is on..

Latias is on sapphire and Latios is on ruby. You can find Latias or Latios in any patch of grass in the Hoenn Region. As for catching them,it's a very long story.

First,purchase a lot of max repels and place a Pokemon who matches the following description at the top of your active Pokemon list.

The Pokemon must be at or below L40 with a high speed rating and a reliable sleep-inducing skill. Attach the quick claw item to the lead Pokemon,because it increases the pokemon's chances of attacking first. Second,use the area function on the pokedex to find out where Latias or Latios is. You must arrange a situation where you and the bird are in the same area at the same time. Latias and Latios don't have a set pattern to their travels,but there are times when they wander from route to route in order. Find two routes next to each other or choose a route that has few patches of grass. Check the pokedex and walk backand forth between that route and whatever is next to it,be it a city,cave,other route,etc.

At some point,you and the bird will end up in the same place together. After this happens,use a max repel to drive away the other Pokemon in the area. This way if you do get into a battle,it'll be with Latias or Latios only.

Incidentally,this is s good way to flush out one of the birds for a first meeting without having to put up with random battles with other wild pokemon. When the battle starts, put Latias or Latios to sleep! This only works if you get the first attack. If you don't,it runs away and you'll have to start over. Chip away at the bird's HP. Don't defeat it,or you have to restart from your last save and begin from step one.

If you get the bird to a silver of health before it wakes and runs, try to capture it in a pokeball. If it wakes before then and runs,don't fear! Latias and Latios retain the damage inflicted on them in previous battles.

If you can get it's HP gauge into the red during one battle,you can spend any other encounter throwing pokeballs at it. If it takes more than one battle to do that,that's par for the course. Stalk and battle these birds until you get that lucky break with a pokeball. Use a master ball. Capturing Latias or Latios is a time-consuming process that requires patience.

Latios is on Ruby, Latias is on Sapphire.After beating Steven, you'll be back in your house. Your mom and dad will be downstairs, and you'll see the tv flashing. Watch the tv, and then Latios or Latias will be game for capture. Save your masterball for them, because they run immediately like the legendary dogs. The only way you can have both is to trade, or maybe there's a code for them

Latios is on Ruby. He is the better of the 2, and Latias is on Sapphire. They run around Hoenn like Raikou, Entei, and Suicune do on Crystal, Gold, and Silver.

You can get both (if you have an e-reader gameshark or action replay) latias is in sapphire and latios is in ruby the way you get them both is you get an eon ticket (an e-reader card or a code on gs or ar) and go to the woman in slateport.

(If you have ar or gs you have to activate it theres a code for that too) then she sends you to the southern island were you will be able to battle latias but hes 10 lvs higher than latios and you get one shot he doesnt run so it's like mabe catching the regis or rayquaza and now you have both).
