You can not change the battery in the game if you have not figured it out yet you would need to send the game in most likely to nintendo or to the company that makes the game to either 1. Change the battery themselves (think the battery is weilded on) or 2. They will transfer the data off your game and put it on a new game with a new battery in it

You should be able to look up and purchase the battery on ebay, if you'd like to change it yourself.

Tha battery you want is a cr1616 with solder tabs, these can be obtained online, to fit them you will need a tri wing scruwdriver and some soldering experiance and gear, as with all back yard repairs there is a eliment of risk that you will stuff your game

The battery you want is a cr1616 tabbed, the tools you need is a small triwing scruwdriver, soldering equiptment, it's a pretty simple fix but with all backyard repairs there is a eliment of risk so do so at your own risk
