Anyone know of any cheats to get a fishing rod?
I must have missed the one in Dewford, but now I have the Surf HM, Mr. Briny has disappeared!
I can't catch water Pokmon without a rod, but none of mine are compatible with Surf!
I don't know anyone to trade with. Is this the end of the line for me?

Go to the route to the west of Mauville.Look in the grass, and you should find a Marril, without a rod,or surfing.
No, I believe your Makuhita or Hariyama can learn it, if you caught one.
Yeah thats cause Briney's gone to the shipyard in slateport so I don't think you can get.
You will need it for catching a feebas and relincanths if you have'nt got them already and loads of others everywhere in the sea.
Sorry, I don't think you can get it back without a code (is there one?).
I suggest you look for fluffychicken, bleepman or GB their experts on this and well better than me!
Go in to the Petalburg forest and catch a slakoth. Go to a building in the top of Petalburg City, and someone in there will trade you a Makuhita. Teach Makuhita surf.
In Mossdeep City, next to the space center there is a house, talk to the fisherman inside for a super rod.
Don't waste your time buying an AR or gameshark just so you can get a fishing rod. Just get a super rod in Mossdeep. But first, you have to find a Pokemon compatible with Surf. I'd say...well, I can't really say, I've just always had a Pokemon that could learn Surf. I guess you should just try to teach it to every Pokemon you have. And you don't have to trade at all to get what you need.
