Pickachu is better if you evolve it because ledgendary is not always better. Smile

PS.you evolve pickachu with a thunder stone> :]

Though Zapdos is a legendary, I personally like Pikachu better because it is a more original Pokemon and you can train it however you want from a low level.

So I would choose Pikachu over Zapdos
