Well I like leaf green more then fire red,but it really depends on what Pokemon you want,because you can get diffrent Pokemon in each game.

I prefer leafgreen but it's all in apoinion of what Pokemon you like because they have differnt Pokemon to catch and evolve on each one.

Neither is better than the other, however, you can get different pokemon.
