Question for Pokemon LeafGreen
I've tried transfering my Mew and Deoxys from my ruby game to Leaf Green but the game says I can't. When the trade is going to take place the game says "The other trainer's Pokemon can't be traded now" can anybody explain why this happens and how to fix it?

There's something like a cheat detterent in Fire Red and Leaf Green. You can only trade the Deoxys if you got it from Birth Island and the Mew from Faraway Island.

I've concluded that it's a cheat-deterrent mechanism by Nintendo that only allows a Mew from Emerald's Faraway Island or a Deoxys from Birth Island to be traded.

You can only trade between R/S and LF/FR when you have completed the Pokemon League, and required the Ruby and Sapphire gems.

Not sure about the Mew, but you probably can't trade Deoxys because you haven't yet got the National Pok�Dex. But I'm betting that you haven't given the Ruby and Sapphire gems to Celio yet.

You have to collect the ruby and sapphire and give them to Celio on 1 Island before you can trade to those games.

They won't allow you to trade them Pokemon because they were gotten by cheating devices. If you went to a Nintendo Event it would have aloud you to trade them over.

You can never it was put in so that you can not trade even if you get them on their islands they put it in to stop people selling deoxys and Mew sorry.
