Question for Pokemon LeafGreen

I really need help! When I turn on my game it says that the 1m sub-circuit board is not installed. Then it just starts the game over and I can't get into my save file. And when I try to save the game it says save error please exchange the backup memory. What does this mean and how can I fix it.

You have a mucked up game if the catridge is black or grey instead of green you have a fake game. If it is green then I belive you can not fix it

Is this an emulator? If so, they don't work, and are illegal.

Aeon-Flux answered:

The best thing you can do is ethier to get a new game or new gameboy advance.

I don't know what to tell yeah dude,it has never happen to me before maybe it's just your game, why don't you try to contact nintendo and see if they can fix it for you.

Hope I help

Undead Minion answered:

I don't know, you should try going to game crazy or game stop and getting it replaced. If you show them the problem they should replace it or refund it.

I don't think you can fix it, you'll have to buy a new game or GBA.

If you have a physical game, be it legit or fake, then that means you have a problem with the little chip in the game cart. You have to probably get a new game if you cannot fix it. If you can open up, and fix the circuit chip, you can. But I am not an expert on fixing games, and so you have to look through tutorials.

If you have an emulator on the other hand, this is due to the wrong save type. Most likely, your emulator has set your save type other than "Flash 128KB", which is the standard for all main series Pokemon games. Simply set the save type to "Flash 128KB" to fix it.
