Pok�rus is a "disease" that your Pok�mon catch. It makes your Pok�mon's stats rise higher than normal. It's a good thing.

Pokerus i think is a virus on your pokemon. One of my friends said that when your pokemon gain levels they gain some extra exp.

Pokerus is a good thing, don't worry. It doubles the stat gain of your Pokemon so they grow twice as fast, it's quite rare to get though.

THE POKEMON VIRUS IS ONE THAT BOOSTS STATS VERY SUFFICIENTLY....
On screen it's the same color as poison but with other words....
Pokemon can absorb the effects from being around the virused pokemon(pokemon in your party can get it from the carrier...
The effect wears off over a certain number of levels/heals or battles....
Prof oak should check the virus out.....
When healing 1 of the joys warns you that you have the effect....
To keep the virus after levelling up by 1lv. Return the Pokemon to the pc for 20 mins then withdraw and be amazed by the special stat boosts!
To raise stats even more-trade a macho brace from Pokemon ruby/sappire/colloseum/xd or platinum versions to a virused Pokemon or better yet to increase the virus lasting trade over the Pokemon onto another version to get a bonus exp.
Boost of 1.75x the normal amount...the lucky egg isnt needed for the first time because though with the trade boost the Pokemon gets 3.5x more exp...but the choice s yours:
Train faster or gain slightly more stats than normal....this is the most important choice you get in the game on stats...but the time is limited....aalso the macho brace only increases stats with a 40% chance each level up!
IMPORTANT:you cannot get a VIRUSED Pokemon in the safari zone-so don't even trie!
THAT IS ALL...WELL MOST OF THE INFO I CAN GIVE YOU..OH AND YOU CAN ALSO GET THE VIRUS IN THE LEGENDARY VERSIONS GOLD AND SILVER..I HAD A GREEN PIKACHU...NOT SHINY BUT VIRUSED..
I COULD TELL CAUSE ELM CALLED ME...THEN..WHEN I HEALED MY POKEMON AT THE POKE CENTER NURSE JOY SAID ALOT MORE THAN ALWAYS AND I WASNT LOOKING AND AT THAT MOMENT I RESET MY GAME TO SEE THE SAME WORDS...
BUT I DID NOT AND LOST THAT PIKACHU BECAUSE I DID NOT SAVE....
Note that the virus does not harm the game!
