Question for Pokemon LeafGreen

Everyone says that you can find Leftovers wherever a Snorlax was, but I used Itemfinder at both locations and I can't find it. Is it untrue that you can find leftovers there, or is my game not working right? Please answer.

P.S. I'd rather a pro would answer my question, especially Cross Stinger.

You have to use the itemfinder exactly over where the Snorlax was. If you use it over where the Snorlax was it will go crazy and you will dig up the leftovers. There is probably nothing wrong with your game.

They're wrong � Leftovers is not on the ground where either Snorlax was, and the Snorlaxes will be holding a Chesto Berry. Leftovers can be obtained in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald in the hull of the ferry in the trash can to the top left, or at the Battle Frontier by vouching 24 Battle Points. As far as I know you can't get the item in Fire Red or Leaf Green.

Disregard the answer I posted before. If you go onto the spot where Snorlax once lay and use the Itemfinder, you'll be able to pull a Leftovers up from underfoot.
