Question for Pokemon LeafGreen

Could someone please give me some good ideas for a Pokemon team. I have just got out of mount moon but some of my Pokemon suck! I have an AR with all the Pokemon on so I can get any. Here are my team so far...

Beedrill lv 15 (can be changed if necessary)
Fury attack
Poison sting
Foucus energy
String shot

Charmander lv 15 (wan to keep as it can learn fly later and then I can ditch a flying type)

Ember
Metal claw
Scratch
Leer

Squirtle lv 15 (keep)

Bubble
Water gun
Withdraw
Tackle

Bulbasaur lv 15 (not fussed)

Vine whip
Bullet seed
Leech seed
Sleep powder

Spearow lv 15 (not fussed)

Peck
Leer
Fury attack
Growl

Firstly I suggest you add a sixth Pokemon to your party. Also keep Bulbasaur in your party from now. I found him to be more help in the game than Charmander and Squirtle.

As of now you're team are ok. Train bulbasaur more this time since you're next gym lider is misty (water). Its also gud to catch another pokemon. Abra, Diglett or Pikachu should be the best choices. Here are the moves of you're Pokemon, removed and added.

Beedrill: Remove string shot, add fury cutter. When another offensive attack is obtained, remove focus energy.

Charmander: Remove leer, add flamethrower. Evolve it to Charmeleon and wait till it learns slash to replace scratch. Ember and Metal Claw can be kept. Ember could be replaced later in the game.

Squirtle: Evolve to Wartortle. Remove either bubble or water gun (id prefer bubble be removed) and teach it water pulse (when you beat misty). Remove withdraw when another move is obtained.

Bulbasaur: Evolve to Ivysaur. Everything seems OK. Replace vine whip or bullet seed with razor leaf when learned. Cut needs to be taught, remove any move (but sleep powder or razor leaf) when you want it to be learned.

Spearow: As of now it's ok. Remove either leer or growl when it learns mirror move. Evolve it to Fearow ASAP.

The 6th Pokemon should be abra (evolve to kadabra), diglett (evolve to dugtrio) or pikachu (evolve to Raichu when a thunderstone is obtained. thats about it.
