Question for Pokemon LeafGreen

I'm using a VBA (VirtualBoyAdvance) emulator, with the ROM ''Pokemon LeafGreen''. I entered a gameshark code which was to get all HMs and TMs, but that caused my bag to max out with infinite items of everything.
When I closed the emulator and got back on, the codes disappeared from the list. I do not know how to turn them off, and I CANNOT receive anymore items, like key items I really, really need to complete the game.
I tried selling and tossing a bunch of items, nothing works. I still have them on INFINITE.
If someone could help, I'd be forever grateful. I don't want to have to restart the game, as I got very far (the islands).

Quick Note: ROM's are illegal, so you probably shouldn't have mentioned that.

Anyway, you're most likely going to have to either restart your game or find a GameShark code that will give you the key items or disable the code that gave you those items with another code.

Really? I wasn't aware of that, as I'm new to all of this emulator stuff. It was a friend who gave me the Pokemon ROMs. And thank you, I actually found a gameshark code that worked! ^^

Roms are only illegal if you dont own the game cartridge. I own leaf green so its perfectly fine for me to have a rom

Just to let you know, roms are not illegal, providing you own the game itself. Downloading a Rom without owning the game is stealing.
