Question for Pokemon LeafGreen

I am currently at the end of the game.

I defeated the elite four for the second time, and went to the (forgot the name) cave and caught mewtwo. Now what should I do?

I couldn't get to island 8 and 9 because I don't have an e-reader nor attending the nitendo events?

I was planning to buy but the salesman said e-reader was no longer to be continue selling.

Now, what should I do? Start the game again?

Try to track down your legendary dog, and if you have done that already, try to complete the pokedex, and if you have done that, then try to fill as much of the National dex as you can, if you have Pokemon Colleseum for Gamecube you can fill all but Deoxys, Lugia, and Jirachi.

(unless you reserved Pokemon Collesuem and got the Bonus disk.)

Then you can wairt for Pokemon Emerald to come out, and then you can collect Lugia, Deoxys, and Jirachi, thus completeing the entire game.

Then you can train your pokeomon to level 100, and start the game over.

No you don't need an e-reader to catch the legendary dog, its just in the grass anywhere in kanto, and theres only one, so dont kill it.
If you started with Bulbasaur, you will find Entei
If you started with Charmander, you will find Suicune
If you started with Squirtle, you will find Raikou
