After u get the secret key at cinabbar island,go and beat the 7th gym's leader.Then when u out the gym,Bill will come.He will take you to the one island ,Bill's friend will give you a tri-pass.Then you out the p.c.
go to a cave.There has a old man,talk to him.Then he will give you the Hm's--------Rock Smash.

I failed and left the Island without getting the HM is there a 2nd chance to get it ?

Go to One Island after beating the Cinnabar Island gym. Go to Ember Spa, and talk to the old man next to the spa. He will give you Rock Smash.
