Shinies are totally random, so your best bet would be to fish up Dratinis over and over until you find one. It will take a good while to find one.

Is it still available after the community event? I caught 4 during the event but after the event no more luck. ;'(

If you want a shiny dratini, go to five island Resort Gorgeus and battle lady jackie many times with an amulet coin. She will give you 20000 everytime you beat her. Then go to the game corner in Celadon and buy lots of coins. Then buy dozens of dratini next door and... Boom!! Shiny dratini eventually. I once found a shiny Espeon! Its lvl 100 now but that's off topic. You are gerunteed to find one with this tip. That's how I found my shiny Dratini. Happy hunting!!!

Would it be easier to keep soft resetting. I'm doing that and have been for ages!!!!!
