Otherwise download a emulator and a rom of the game, I assume you own a game cartridge so you won't be breaking any laws...
The most common emulator (and the best so far) is visualboy... not hard to find, and you can use action replays/gamesharks/codebreaker/xplorer ... all sorts of codes (they're all the same thing).
The down side of it is you can't link battle with others (duh) so you need to either buy a flash rom card and switch between computer/gba when ever you need to...
... Blah it all seems too complicated, just don't cheat, it's easier that way
