You get the Earthbadge at the last gym. You have to battle Giovanni, the Team Rocket leader, to get it.

You can obtain the Earth Badge at the Viridian City Gym. It is the last gym badge you will obtain before you go enroute to the Elite 4.
Giovanni is the Gym leader Here's is his line-up:
Rhyhorn lvl. 45
Dugtrio lvl. 42
Nidoqueen lvl. 44
Nidoking lvl. 45
Rhydon lvl. 50
These guys will be easy to beat if you have a strong water or groud type.
If you do beat him, you'll finally get the Earth badge it's also the 8th and final badge!!!
