Question for Pokemon FireRed
I have one quick question. When do you get to trade with the more current Pokemon games?..is it when you beat the elite four?..if so then how many Pokemon should you catch in order to trade with them??....and how do you get Pokemon from gold version???....do you have to catch them in emerald????..plz help me

The ones from Gold will be split among Emerald, Fire Red, and Leaf Green, but you won't be seeing them until the League is defeated, you've caught 60 other Pok�mon and obtained the National Pok�dex. You'll get more from Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald once you give the Ruby and Sapphire plates to Celio.

Yes you have to beat the Elite Four and you can't Trade with the old games

You could Trade to FR/LF/ not sure about g/s/c/r/y/b.
In order to Trade to E/r/s you need to have the national dex by catching 60 Pokemon and beat the elitre 4, then go talk to celion and do waht he telss you to do. I can't tell the whoile thing because I hate typing long stuff.

To Trade from Ruby and Sapphire to get some more Pokemon, you need to get the Ruby and Sapphire plates and give them to Celio. Then you can trade some Pokemon over from R/S. If you want Pokemon from Gold, then you need to get those Pokemon from the Extended Safari Zone in Emerald.
