How do I open the dotted cave to get the sapphire and where do I get Rocksmash.

Use Cut in front of the dotted door and you get Rock Smash from an old man in the hot springs on Mt.Embe (In my game it's called Light Mountain).

You get Rock Smash at Mt. Ember on Island 1, talk to the old man by the springs. Use Cut infront of the door and you will see holes just go in them in a different order until you see the Sapphire! hope this helps!
