Usually when you solve a puzzle in Far: Changing Tides you will be rewarded with a new upgrade for your boat that will enable you to collect fuel more efficiently. The exception to this is the houseboat puzzle which will instead give you a new space to relax in. This How to Complete the Houseboat Puzzle guide will give you the solution to unlock it.
The first thing you need to do to solve this puzzle is use the levers you come across to erect two portions of the crane. Once you have done this you will be able to climb the ladders on them to the top of the tower that is nearby.
Inside the tower you will discover that the lift is broken and in order to fix the lever you need to pick up the repair box that is nearby. Once you have the repair box you just need to hold it over the lever to fix it and then use the lift to descent into the structure where you will see several images that portray the old world.
When you reach the bottom you will be able to exit the tower and press the large blue button to activate the houseboat crane. Then use each lever to line the houseboat with your boat. When the light next to a lever comes on you are in the correct position. Once boat lights are on the houseboat will lower into place.
Once you’re at the bottom, you can exit the tower and press the large blue button to activate the houseboat crane. Then, you need to use each lever to line the houseboat up with your ship. You’ll know the lever is in the right place because the light next to it will turn on. As soon as both lights are on, the houseboat will lower into place.
The last thing you need to do to solve the puzzle is open the large door that is blocking your exit. In order to do this you need to swim underwater and through the gap in the metal at the bottom. You then need to continue swimming along until you reach a blue button which you need to swim against to push it in and open the door so you can sail your boat out of the facility.
