There are ten different weapons in Evil West and you will be able to unlock and upgrade them with the cash you collect as you progress through the game. Not all the weapons in Evil West are equal, some are definitely better than others at eradicating the bloodthirsty monstrosities Jessie hunts. Take a look at our Weapon Tier List to see which ones are the best in the game. Keep in mind that you can improve the capabilities of each of the weapons below by upgrading them.

How to Upgrade your Weapons

Upgrading your weapons in Evil West is essential as it improves their capabilities considerably. It is not a difficult process to upgrade your weapons, you simply have to purchase them from the menu in the 'Upgrades' section using the cash that you find scattered around each level. You will though have to meet a level requirement before you can upgrade them but this you will do naturally anyway as you proceed through the story and with a bit of extra exploration for hidden chests.

To upgrade a weapon go to the 'Upgrade' screen and select the upgrade under each tool you would like to enhance. The upgrade will instantly unlock and be available for your weapon once you have paid the cash fee and met the specified level.
