In Eternal City equipment is called Kageso and each Wielder can equip Kageso up to a total cost of 25 points. Each Kageso has a Cost assigned to it ranging from 1 to 7, the higher the Cost the better the attributes. There are a few Kagesos that are exclusive to specific Wielders, but most, especially in the early game can be acquired and linked to any Wielder you want. Kagesos can be obtained during battles with the high rarity ones typically coming from the Hakuya House gacha. Kageso can also be bought from the Exchange function, the Memorial Store, Universal Exchange in Spatial Conquest, and the Dark Bazaar.
You can synthsize up to four Kagesos of a particular rarity level you do not want in order to have a chance of obtaining a Kageso of a higher rarity. Kageso come in five quality levels: green, blue, purple, gold, and orange. Green quality Kageso are the most basic level Kageso while orange quality Kageso are the most prestigious and sought after and can be acquired via the Breakthrough function which is unlocked once a Gold Kageso is leveled to level 40.
Breakthrough consumes 2 Gold Kageso of the same Cost as the Kageso undergoing the Breakthrough, as well as the same amount of Pact of Time and Shadow Trace as the Cost of the Kageso undergoing the Breakthrough. The main stats and bonus attributes of the Kageso undergoing the transformation to orange quality do not change, it will however gain three additional attributes which range from 1 bar to 5 bars. Each bar representing a 20% increase. A star that provides additional % increase is acquired when the additional attributes are all near 5 bars. There is also a 20% chance to gain a Set Option.
